ABOUT OUR REBBETZIN

Rebbetzin Debra Rubanowitz is an experienced educator of Jewish Studies. She has taught at high school and college levels, at women’s seminaries, adult education courses and private classes for kallot. Whether teaching chumash, halochoh, women’s issues or Jewish Medical Ethics, she aims to inspire women to use learning and erudition as a tool to draw closer to Hashem.
The Rebbetzin has a background in psychology and education and the experience of raising her ten children ranging in age from 24 to 7 years old. She has served as the rebbetzin of English speaking communities in Ramat Bet Shemesh and Yerusholayim for many years, mobilizing the women of the community to be active in many social and religious functions including classes, workshops, and singles events. She has also arranged shidduchim and provided general guidance and counseling for many individuals.
